Celebrating the 10th annual Syncro Solstice
For years the Solstice team has considered another fall 2wd/4wd event to compliment the late-spring Syncro Solstice rally along with the ambitious lifestyles of our Solstice Vanagon community.
The Covid-19 risk this spring was dire enough to suspend our 10th annual Syncro Solstice in Moab. As we become more knowledgeable and practiced in living with Covid safety and distancing, what a great opportunity to get the band back together in a safe setting and kick off our long-anticipated fall event celebrating the gazillions of wonderful and amazing people, friendships and experiences we have created over the last 10 years, and those still to come.
While the Syncro Solstice is a late-spring red-rock desert rally in south-eastern Utah, Synquinox is a fall high-mountain jamboree hosted in central Idaho at the edge of the Sawtooth wilderness. Both events are designed for 2wd and 4wd vans. This year, the Sawtooth Lodge in Grandjean, north-east of Boise is our host. Cooler night-time temperatures, high-elevation terrain, rivers, hot springs, and mountain meadows await during the nicest season of the year.
The upper and lower meadows offer a stunning wilderness camping and play area at the edge of the Sawtooth wilderness.
Great restrooms, showers, fire-pits, on-site restaurant/bar, river hot spring (1/4 mile away), geothermal swimming pool, horseback riding.
Come back and see your friends and celebrate, and if this is your first year, we have been waiting for you.
A survey of everything out your doorstep (map continuously updated as we gather more adventures & info).
Scenic and adventurous 2wd, 4wd, Mtn Bike, water and hiking excursions at 10,000 feet for all a skill levels.
At the time of publishing, Boise County has has 0 (zero) Covid Cases and in turn, zero Covid deaths.
Delta points will be managed well during the event (restrooms/showers for instance). Meals this year will be the responsibility of the Van (there is a restaurant onsite).

We are still looking for the safest mix of vans and people at the site. We anticipate space for 40-50 vans which is less than the Solstice event. Claiming an early spot (using the link below) is the best way to ensure you are a part of this adventure.
